Pelican is Vose Software’s core product, a web-based, SaaS Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system.

Pelican was first made commercially available in 2017 after five years of development and testing in partnership with selected large companies. Since then, it has been redefining how the risk management community looks at ERM, finally providing a solution to the analytical and aggregating problems that came with the old-style heat maps. It is the first, and currently the only, ERM product to fully address the demands of ISO 31000.

Pelican has shown how, by using quantitative methods, one can break free from managing risks in silos. Pelican enables a business to connect and assess all risks together under one platform, even integrating its spreadsheet and project risk analysis tools.

Pelican is highly customizable, allowing any form of entity structure, risk breakdown structures, dashboards, KPIs, reports, access rights and any type of consequences (e.g. financial, reputation, H&S, environmental).

Pelican pays close attention to how risks are managed, connecting risk management tasks to calendars, providing automated alerts of significant changes to risks, incorporating an automated process for approving changes to risk estimates, etc.
