Since 2007, Christian Wicenec is Director Risk Reduction Management at PAUL HARTMANN AG. In his professional career he worked in Marketing & Sales at HOECHST AG in Frankfurt and for seven years in science journalism at the German Economic Institute in Cologne. In 2002 he changed to PAUL HARTMANN AG, where he initially worked as a contact person to European business associations.
In parallel, he developed and implemented a global Issues Management system. In April 2007, he was commissioned to merge the Issues Management with HARTMANN’s Enterprise Risk Management and a research project on business-relevant future developments into a new holistic HARTMANN GROUP-wide Risk Management approach, called Risk Reduction Management.
Christian holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry, is a trained Enterprise Environmental Officer and a FERMA Certified European Risk Management Professional. He can refer to almost 200 publications, lectures, radio interviews and television interviews on his respective work priorities.
