Mareen joined UNIBA Partners in 1998 and has been on the front-line of developing the network since then. Her responsibilities include the design, development and implementation of strategy, as well as the day to days management of the organization. She is closely involved in new partner selection, marketing and all aspects of quality.
As for many brokers, Mareen’s encounter with corporate insurance was accidental. Equipped with a recent MBA and a very unclear idea of what she was embarking upon, she started her insurance career as an International Management Trainee with CIGNA.
International insurance has been her field ever since, both on the insurer and broker side.
Mareen sees international business as much an issue of communication as a tecnical matter. She is a fervent believer in the importance of quality and trusted business relationships.
Mareen has lived in Germany and, briefly, the US before moving to Belgium.
