Speed interview with Didier Odorico, Director Corporate Risk Management and Global Process at Tetra Pak
Didier Odorico, Tetra Pak, Director, Corporate Risk Management and Global Process
Why is participating at a European risk management event important to you?
Risk Management like the other second and third line of defense are unique functions in Organisations. The best way to stay up-to-date with innovation and benchmark our approach is to meet our peers in this kind of events. My company being a large global company I am usually attending international rather than local/national events.
What does “Aim for the Future” mean to you?
The world will look significantly different in 10 years from now. We have a risk management process to run day to day but we also have to prepare our Organisation to the future environment. The way we work, from our capabilities to the new technology will in my view completely reinvent risk management and GRC.
You will be presenting « Three Lines of Defense” in large, complex, multinational enterprises», what would you like the audience to remember after your session?
That you can very well control a company with a traditional approach to Risk management, Internal control and internal audit. But if instead, you want to improve the performance of your company, then you need to take an holistic approach where all three lines of defense have the same framework and same final objectives.
