Why is participating at a European risk management event important to you?
Any international company needs to be aware of the risks and opportunities posed by the shifting global political environment. The world is facing many challenges so this seems more relevant than ever, both in Europe and beyond.
What does “Aim for the future” mean to you?
For me “Aim for the Future” means understanding how quickly current situations which we take for granted can change: we must be constantly open to the possibility of shocks and surprises.
You will be presenting “Protectionism, nationalism, fragmentation: setting risk appetite in a complex trade environment », what would you like the audience to remember after your session?
I hope that after my session the audience will better appreciate how much an international company relies on the movement and exchange of ideas, technology, people and resources. But I also want to learn from the audience’s experiences and be challenged by them.
